Maria took advantage of me. She took my money. Maria sold me 12 classes and I had used only 5 classes with her. After we spoke and she agreed I will come back to use them up in couple of months. When I was back she told me that classes are not valid and I have to purchase new package. With her agreement of me coming back and using my classes and no warning of expiration of classes I feel that she took advantage of me.

I have honestly been trying to learn Spanish for close to 5 years now. I worked with Maria Gaviria for one month. I had had many classes and bits of tutoring spread out over many years with long bouts of nonpractice and nonstudy leaving me with great gaps in my vocabulary and grammar. We met twice a week to work on language, grammar, and conversation. Maria helped me gain confidence and gave me strategies for developing an ear outside of class. She encouraged my speaking and guided conversation and questions to force me to go beyond simple present tense.
